I blew through Daniel today, which was too bad, because it was a bright and shiny spot in what’s been a dreary crusade through the prophets. I think Ezekial was a bit bizzare and interesting in spots, but I was too numb from Isaiah and Jeremiah to pay close attention. I might have to back through later for a re-listen. The minor prophets fit onto just two CD’s, so even with my present pattern of listening to a few chapters, then flipping over to the radio, I should be done with the Old Testament by the end of the week.

I’m really looking forward to the New Testament, Darth Vader-style! So long, Alexander Scourby – you’ve been a real trooper!
